Martin’s Family Natural product Ranch is one of Canada’s biggest apple cultivators and packers. Located in Waterloo, near St. Jacobs, Martin’s Family Fruit Farm operates Canada’s most advanced year-round apple storage, sorting, grading, and packing facility.
A new state-of-the-art packing line has been installed during the new harvest season to support increased production and growth. We are currently seeking a full-time Reach Truck/Forklift Operator for day and afternoon shifts.
The operator will be responsible for our racking/cooler, shipping/receiving, and feeding into our apple packing line. Operators must be able to lift 50 lbs and will work in a cooler environment.
Day shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm with some Saturday work as needed.
Wage: $22.00 per hour
Afternoon Shift: Monday through Friday 4pm to 12am and some Saturday work if needed.
Wage: $22 per hour plus $1 per hour for afternoon shift premium.

Job Description.
- Loading and unloading bins of apples and skids from coolers and trailers.
- Safely store pallets in racking coolers.
- Safely transport product through warehouse and storage coolers Organize apple bins in coolers and pack inventory
- Safely stacking apple bins in tight or high spaces in coolers
- Entering information into inventory software system (Envio)
- Performing regular circle checks and minor maintenance on forklifts
- Attend to details and label products
- Help other colleagues working in the plant depending on the situation
Qualifications.
- Reach truck and forklift experience required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be forklift certified
- Capacity to coordinate and focus on responsibility in a speedy climate
- Team player with excellent communication skills
