About the position available
Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager, the Utility Worker will maintain the cleanliness of the hospital. This includes cleaning, mopping, and dusting all areas of the hospital.
Other duties include floor care (floor polishing and waxing), carpet and chair shampooing, waste removal (hazardous and general waste), cleaning up chemical spills, laundry work, room set up, window cleaning (indoors), winter salt spreading, isolation room cleaning, flood and blood leak clean up, etc.
