If you join us as a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for

  • Responsible for handling customer service inquiries and phone calls.
  • Work with all levels of facility staff to successfully coordinate and support all related housekeeping activities in the office environment.
  • Keep an elevated degree of neatness in our office.
  • Responsible for monitoring quality through an established quality assurance program and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
  • Manage all aspects of staff scheduling including creating master schedules, calling in substitute staff as needed, creating daily sign-in sheets, H&S training and documentation, and updating the electronic payroll system.

  • Duties include.
  • Serve meals to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Primary liaison between the housekeeping department and employees.
  • Help the Overseer of Housekeeping/Housekeeping Supervisor in running the division.
  • Proficiency in all computer software and programs used to manage the housekeeping department.
  • Opening/Closing duties, guest room and public area cleaning assignments.
  • Plan and conduct daily start-up/pre-shift meetings including topics related to safety, branding, and service culture training.
  • Daily checks to ensure guest rooms are kept clean according to Wall Center standards.
  • Performs personal cleaning of VIP rooms and spaces.
  • Ensure guest room cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Assist the Director of Housekeeping/Housekeeping Manager in training new and existing employees.
  • Help the Overseer of Housekeeping/Housekeeping Director in surveying planning in light of inhabitance and work spending plan.
  • Train associates on safe work practices, including proper storage of chemicals and materials needed for daily room cleaning.
  • Schedule and communicate associate performance to manager.
  • Adhere to monthly purchasing budgets and ensure inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and brand name items needed for guest rooms.
  • Ensure accountability of department supplies.
  • Serve as liaison between front office and housekeeping for proper communication, daily planning, and management of expectations.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Other duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service and housekeeping experience.
  • Should be conversant in English, second language an or more.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work early mornings and late evenings as needed.
  • Proven computer, administrative, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
  • Capacity to perform multiple tasks and work in a speedy climate under tension.
  • Lightspeed experience a plus.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a team player.
