Hardware Administrator/Careful selector/High Lift Administrator
Overview
The Gear Administrator/High Lift Administrator is answerable for the protected and productive activity of fueled hardware like forklifts, stand-up forklifts, request and careful choosers. The Equipment Operator moves cartons, pallets, and other product containers within the distribution center.
This position requires constant standing and dreary movement and may work hardware at levels of 30 feet or more. This position requires steady, fast-paced, accurate work. Attention to detail, basic counting and reasoning skills are required.USA Agriculture Jobs Vacancy

Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Duties.
- Operates PIT equipment such as sit-down forklifts, counterbalanced lifts, cherry pickers, turret trucks, and reach trucks within the safety and operating requirements established by the Company and equipment manufacturer.
- Unloads materials and parts from incoming delivery trucks and stocks them in inventory locations.
- Picks materials and parts from stock location and places them into production process.
- Stocks unused materials and parts, as well as finished products from the production process, at inventory locations.
- Picks finished products from inventory locations, stages them for shipment, and loads them onto shipping trucks.
- Complete PIT maintenance checklists for assigned equipment prior to operation and report any safety gaps or mechanical repairs to the management team.
- Process SAP transactions using handheld scanners and computers, verify transfer orders on picking lists, track material movement, and audit shipments for completeness and accuracy. Report discrepancies to the management team.
- Assist in training forklift operators in the department as requested.
- Perform all duties in a manner consistent with our quality system, including maintaining a clean and orderly work area at all times.
- Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions regarding safety hazards and accidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description.
- Pick orders from the warehouse, assemble pallets, prepare products for delivery, and load trucks. Pick at least 35 cases per hour (approximately 75 cases per hour).
- Must be able to safely lift 30-50 lbs. in a refrigerated environment.
- Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. On-site training provided.
- Must be able to meet and maintain GMP and GFSI (food safety) standards.
- Perform duties as required.
Qualifications.
- One (1) year of experience as an order selector/warehouse picker in a produce or related environment.
- At least one year of experience with pallet jacks and demonstrated safe and proficient operating skills.
- Something like one year of involvement utilizing a Vocollect headset or RF filter weapon.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn new computer software
- Basic math skills
The following would be an added plus
- Experience handling perishable products
- Excellent attendance record
- Knowledge of organic produce.
- Must be a long term employee

Physical Requirements.
This position requires regular physical exertion, including lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, and reaching. Requires regular lifting of heavy objects up to 60 pounds for approximately 15% of scheduled work hours. Constant attention is required to monitor warehouse processes and identify problems.
