Picker/Packer We are currently looking for a Picker/Packer to join our team. This is a day shift position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in the Spare Parts Department.
Job Rundown
Oversee picking ticket orders from distribution center staff and the executives and genuinely pull stock from racks to guarantee exact conveyance of distribution center items. Palletize orders, including shrink wrap, and load onto trucks for delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintains sales orders and picking lists
- Pulls items from shelves based on item number, quantity requirements
- Ensures orders are picked accurately and efficiently
- Ensures all items are uniquely identified
- Pallet jacks, dollies, drays, or other equipment Moves and transports spare parts using pallet jacks, dollies, drays, or other equipment
- Builds and assembles boxes and crates for packing purposes
- Maintains organization and labeling of set-up areas
- Maintains organization and labeling of storage areas
- Communicates with team members regarding low stock items
- Ensures goods are in good condition and safe for delivery during transport Packs orders to ensure good condition and safe delivery of goods during
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations, including loading and unloading trucks
Candidates must have
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
- Physical strength to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60lbs) as needed
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform repetitive physical labor, including bending, lifting and reaching
