About the Role
The Warehouse Worker is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and actively, supported by a collaborative team in a fast-paced, unionized environment. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and accurately picking groceries for hundreds of Loblaw stores throughout the region.
Job Description
Gathers and assembles pallets of groceries and other commodities using an electric pallet jack, wraps assembled pallets, and prepares pallets for shipping:
- Secondary school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience operating an electric pallet jack
- Warehouse or general labor experience
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. and work repetitively and accurately in a time-limited environment
Must be comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment (+22 to -28 degrees depending on location)
