As a Production Loader at Granton NS, you will be responsible for meeting the daily production worker requirements while maintaining a high level of quality in a safe and effective manner.The OCX Loader Operator has several responsibilities. Manufacturing Worker Job Vacancy
This position operates a hoist to lift bobbins from the floor to the appropriate machine to produce tires. The duties are quite physically demanding and the selected candidate will be required to walk from machine to machine throughout the shift. Time management is an important skill.
The successful candidate will have effective time management skills, be able to communicate with other team members, and complete all tasks.

Client responsibilities
- OCX loaders to tire manufacturing machinery Responsible for loading
- Lifts bobbins using a hoist and keeps 6 tire manufacturing groups stocked throughout the shift.
- The OCX Loader is required to work alone.
- The OCX Loader works in a time-sensitive environment and often faces pressure to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills and ability to work as a team member
- Ability to thrive in an industrial environment
- Good time management skills
- Enjoys physical labor and repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night).
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation

- Work with engineering, sales, and production personnel
- Expedite schedules as needed
- Ensure quality requirements for parts are maintained. Visually inspect parts for orientation and finish
- Use various types of calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to inspect work completed or in progress to determine part quality
- Verify that fabricated parts meet drawing requirements by dimensioning. (Sign off on drawings)
- Group/kitting finished or purchased parts for future processes (molding to assembly)
- Assist with other duties as directed by management
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications

- Willingness to “get the job done” Understanding of laser cutting/forming/bending practices
