Our client in the hospitality and food service industry is looking for Line Cooks and Prep Cooks. You will play a key role in producing high quality, delicious food according to recipes and standards.

Job Duties.

  • Prepare and cook menus according to our specifications
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes

OVERVIEW

Operate heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems by coordinating computer controls that regulate temperatures within the building and monitoring equipment performance.

Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems by: checking equipment operation; performing preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, steam system, dual duct boxes, etc.).

Daily meter reading of boiler and chiller
Researching of all issues associated with building robotization with all equipment related, and fix of minor and complex stuff issues Maintain fire alarm system by ensuring all equipment is in good working order, repairing malfunctioning equipment, and testing equipment

Monitor water treatment systems by ensuring that the proper amount of chemicals are added and that systems are tested accurately.

Resolve day-to-day problems such as leaks, odors, lighting, and door issues.

Break down and investigate circumstances and tackle issues, for example, broken fan engines, chillers, boilers, and so on.

Work and fix gear, for example, mechanical fans, chillers, boilers, crisis generators, fire security hardware, air conditioning gear, washroom exhaust fans, seat air supply fans, air supply hardware, water treatment, lighting,as well as check contents, controls and gauges.

Respond to emergencies that may occur in a controlled and professional manner (e.g. fire alarms, floods, etc.)

  • Prepare and issue approved PO’s and maintain up-to-date logs
  • Obtain competitive quotes for maintenance and project work as required and in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date Angus work order system (tenant and preventive maintenance)
  • Progressing audit and detailing of energy the board frameworks

Assist with preparation and submission of industry awards (BOMA, LEED, etc.)

Tenant Relations
Respond proactively and promptly to tenant and occupant requests Respond to all customer requests from the work order system and complete within acceptable timeframes.

Work with the Operations Manager and Property Management team to coordinate programs, continually assess tenant and occupant needs, and ensure issues are promptly resolved for the mutual benefit of the tenant, client, and property in accordance with the contractual scope and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Ensure that issues are promptly resolved to the mutual benefit of the tenant, client, and property.
Compliance.

Monitor environmental laws, codes, and corporate best practices to ensure environmental compliance of the property.

Monitor and verify that vendors provide and comply with insurance requirements and adjust all claims as needed.

Planning.
Assist (as needed) in the development and preparation of various budgets associated with the facility.
Assist the Operations Manager in the preparation and publication of annual budgets, reforecasts, and other reports.

Assist in the development of the facility’s capital budget. This includes contributing to the 10-year plan for maintenance, facility improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of building operations experience (leadership experience in a professional commercial office building with a variety of mechanical systems)
  • BES 1/11, FMA, SMT or equivalent certification
  • Experience working in an owner-occupied building is a plus
  • Familiarity with and adherence to all applicable codes, regulations, government agencies, customer initiatives, and company directives regarding building operations, construction, and safety
  • Capacity to perform multiple tasks, flourish in a high speed climate, and remain coordinated.
